WINNNNN :D

thanks mate.

What lens was it? you got a wide-angle?#

would love a 10-20mm, but it would be used so little, compared to something like a 17-70mm IMO

sorry to go off-topic dude lol

Mate I'm still thinking about your gauge. How hard was it to plumb from the cabin to the engine bay through the vent? The electrics are pretty straight forward bur is it a time consuming mod? Cheers

Its mutch easier than you think, Jas.

On the mk5 Golf, mk2 Leon & 8P A3/S3 there is a large grommet behind the battery that comes out in the passenger footwell. Once in the passenger footwell there are just a few trim pannels to remove to get to where you need to be.

That does sound easy, I want to install mine in the middle circular vent so will need to have a look how the panels in the car come off.

Btw have you got any vids of your gauge in action at all? It does the needle sweep etc right?

Damo, it wasn't you I spotted on the Stockport pyramid roundabout the other day, getting cut up by a Punto if I remember correctly (hence honking of the horn!)? It's just I saw an ED30 the same colour as yours etc.

I know you're a long way from Stockport though.

:( There goes my hopes of seeing my first fellow SCN member

Can I be a cheeky git Damo, and ask you the paint code of your car? I quite fancy refurbing my wheels in the body colour of your car. ;)

No Jordan, t'was a bog standard metallic blue one. That roundabout does seem to attract many muppets!

I think I've sorted the paint code by the way Damo, United Grey I believe the colour to be called. :D

I remember you saying your clutch was slipping, have you replaced it yet? Which one you gone for or going for and how much did it cost you or going to cost? Replacing the flywheel?

Not replaced it as yet, Brad.

I'll most prob be going for the Sachs stage 1 with the standard flywheel Clicky. Cant realy justify the £1200 for the whole SMFW + stage 3 clutch :(
