see where you're coming from. think it depends what wax/seal you use. as said, I believe the sealant i have (Glisten) would go on top of RB BA Wax. I was thinking of sealing as literally the LSP! Kinda like you'd seal a bit of writing on paper by laminating it ;) It's the last thing.

That's my thoughts anyway

Usually sealant first mate, the polymers in the sealant work by bonding (cross linking) to the paint, it cant do that if there is wax, or an oily glaze in the way. As you have the Banana Armour on already, I'd suggest putting another coat or two of that on.

You could use the glisten if you like, it's not going to do any harm, but it probably won't bond properly and give you it's full durability.

sweet.

BTW: Does it look like I was using enough clay? I was under the impression you only needed a pound coin size piece. I used a bit more than that, but recently looking at threads on DW, people clay seems a lot "thicker" than mine. Should I use more, or go with what I "feel" is comfortable?

For the BH clay, I spilt it into 6 pieces, I think you could easily get 8 pieces from it though.

You want to knead it a bit and then flatten it so you can fit it comfortably into your hand, it's needs to feel right, you don't want to be only just hanging on to it, as otherwise you'll drop it.

This about the size I tend to use (although that's not BH clay in the pictures).

polishing is designed to remove swirls and even used as a "final" clean with some products. Wax is to give the final shine, create beading (so water runs straight off etc)

Check the guides on Polished Bliss!
