hiya guys new to the forum and ive just brought this car pictured below (if i can figure out how to post a pic), when there's a person sitting in the back its catches at the back , i can see were its catching and its near the the rear bumper shut line. the car has the d90's on with spacers, has anyone else on the forum got these wheels and have there car this low without them catching. the tyres are 195/45/16. they are fitted with spacers, how wide will they need to be to not catch? i can machine these ones down easy enough (as i work at an engineering company. any help will do. cheers

I have 8j d90's on the back off my car with 20mm spacers/adapters. I find that unless i run my suspension pretty stiff then i get rubbing on the rear wheel. Even now it sometimes rubs when i hit dips in the road etc.

im going to measure the rear spacers when i do the rear brakes this morning, and i dont think its rubbing on the actual arch, i can see the plastic inner arch near the rear bumper has been rubbing, and i think there may be a bracket there.

Get 40 profiles mate, will make a big difference

All depends on the width of the rim, if he's got 195/45/16 on an 8j rim id imagine thats quite abit of stretch and should be ok. I have 205/40/16's on an 8j rim and they will only rub when i hit hige dips in the road and when its loaded up.
