Cutting out once warmed up!!

Hopefully a minor problem, jus wondered if anyone had had this before???
Start the car up fine then when the temperature gauge gets to normal temperature right in the middle, it stays there for about 10 minutes an then cuts out. This is with idling and when driving! The temperature gauge stays as normal but everything seems to get very very hot and then it cuts out! The fan doesnt cut in at any point probably because it thinks its running at normal temperature but it seems way too hot under the bonnet! What is it that needs renewing????

Does it cut out when your pulling up to stop? ie when you take your foot off the accelerator? If so it may just be the throttle is dirty. GIve it a clean or get some carb cleaner and spray that in. Should sort it out (if thats the problem)

temp sensor, where abouts is that??? its definitely something to do with the cooling side of things!! temp shows it ok but its well overheating and the fan isnt kicking in!! theres no airlock either!!

Cutting out

arite chief my car cuts out when its warm aswell. They are bad for the CATs getting blocked up im smashing mine out at the weekend ill let u know how it goes
