Hi for all of you who havnt seen my previous posts heres a recap, I bought a universal intercooler off ebay for around £100, i then used intercooler pipes off a Ford Focus C-Max and some straight metal pipe to make the pipework. In all it cost me around £140. The intercooler looks the part imo but as there would be lots of critasism over wether or not it actually works. Heres a few pics of the intercooler itself.
Now after getting a ebay cable off a friend and spending ages trying to download the correct drivers and correct vagcom. . . and get the interface working, i finally managed to get vagcom working. I measured block 01-004 and got the following results

As you can see i was very happy, The log was done in 4th gear approx 40-120mph (private road) and even at 5200rpm the max temp i saw was 30 degrees C.
This just goes to show that you dont need to spend £££'s to get good results, i hope this shows people that it can be done the custom way, cheap, but also working well, and is also an alternative for those who have a tight budget.
All comments welcome as i would like feedback on this and your views, Cheers.
