Nope, mine went up as with a previous map due to the fact its tailored for the specific engine.

Only if you give it more welly will it go down, the thermal efficiency of the engines is still predominantly the same. :D

Hi Chris060685

As EdButler has said the fuel economy will be improved, around town driving and motorway driving will see a vast improvement.Once you start exploring how the car pulls and you start using the accelarator more the mpg will decrease.

i dunno the scooby was 305 bhp had the ppp pack on it, didnt really race/compare with a cupra, what do u lot reckon?

My old TDi with 225bhp was still returning 40-45 mpg on a good blast

In your Scooby(As I also had one) I bet your getting around 20 mpg :D

Your going to get way better mpg even with a re mapped Cupra TDi

If you talking petrol Cupra then sorry I have no idea :p

mmm., it's a tough one gazjones has got his FR 20vt running damb near 230bhp and it's a little lighter me thinks, rashcupra has a cupra with angel remap to 225, and he posted a 0-60 time here and gaz's is there too have a look and see what you think. Rash has got other mods on now like a full miltek system but he's aiming for aroung 260bhp, he was thinking about a JBS04 turbo conversion to put him up to 300bhp but i think he's diven up on that idea (spare £4000 anyone). still cheaaper to run than the scooby if not as quick tho :D

gaz has managed 58mpg in his fr but id never in amillion years be able to do that.

as for insurance! i payed about £2900 for 10months insurance for my cupra when i was 18 now im 19 with 1 years NCB renewl quote for 10monts is £1590
