after having the brake peddle five times now in the space of 2 months go straight to the floor when braking a trip to dealers was in order
when the peddle goes to the floor there was a kind of hissing noise but instead of he brakes bitting like they shoul d do they slowly gripped the disc just enough to slow down to a stop(frightning indeed)
brake fluid was changed about this time dont know if it is at fault
must say dealer very good about this , checked and checked again but could not find an answer, so they have booked in to change the servo ,to see if this is the prob and also to be on the safe side

anyone had any issues with there brakes similar:confused:

I would think the servo is at fault looking at the hissing noise, sounds fairly likely.

the hissing nose should be a broken seal in the servo. had a simmilar problem in my previous ibiza. it would hiss when i pressed the pedal. AA diagnosed mine at the side of the road and towed the car to the nearest garage.
