Hi long story short my 60 plate cupra started misfiring when I put foot down. After been recommended by a thread and revo (I think) I changed them for NGK BKR7EIX stock no 2667. After inspecting the standard one and the NGK, it looks like the thread is shorter on the new ones. Anyone else noticed this? It's solved the misfiring but doesn't seem to pull as hard. Not sure if that's true though and could just be in my head. I would add a pic but unsure how to on this haha

I was running these for about 6 month with no issues, a little smokey at times though. One day I was going a little hard and the car decided it would miss fire. On inspection it seemed like the engine had leaned out and melted one of the spark plugs... I asked a seat tech about this and he told me it was not the correct gap for the engine. I replaced the spark plugs with ones that are used on the A1 (cant remember what they are I will check when am home ) and not have a problem since! No smoke either and pulls very well. These plugs have been in for about 5k now and were fitted by Seat

I took up the issue with Revo but they gave me no information other than other people run them fine. Baring in mind my car has had no other issues..

Cheers
