why disregard the price of the brakes?? surely this is classed as a running cost, same with tyres, servicing bits etc.

all these little things will mount up extra, and im pretty sure he would notice the difference in his pocket running a LCR than a LC.

At what point did i disregard the breaks in my post? i didn't

I am sure someone who actually has an LCR can make far more accurate comments than myself, but i see the brakes and of course the 18" tyres being more costly....but again some what down to how hard you drive the car as well and how long you want those parts to last for

same with the power and petrol factor? deciding factor on how much you spend is how heavy your right foot is?
