Never thought about that. I've got the OEM sideskirts and front lip fitted and never declared to the insurance company.Out of interest, for those who have them fitted, how much did it increase the insurance premium by?
This part is from a Mexico edition car. This photo shows the cut out better (or if you prefer worse):
Yeah it was posted a while ago. I was just highlighting the cut out for the toe hook cover. This part is from a Mexico edition car.
I crumbled and just bought the Cupra R Fog light inserts. So much for being different
What pushed me was contacting Horton who said there was only one available in the warehouse so I ended up panic buying. Most likely a sales fib.......I’ve tried to get part numbers for the black surrounds and yeah it’s proving difficult. I can find the side arch bits but not as separate numbers....

Oh thought you were on about the Mexican one. Mexican ones are different.Unfortunately you can only get them as a set of cupra r front and rears which are around.... drum roll please
€880
They are separate on the r though so they must have a part number

It’s more than the join line.I was on about the Mexican ones, I originally thought they were the same as the cupra r but I’ve just looked at the above photos and realised they aren’t the same, the Mexican join line is lower. Damn there’s that idea out the window...

Some people have managed to do it without removing the bumper and just pulling the original grills out with a sharp hard yank.Just had a notification to say they will arrive tomorrow but I will have to wait until July to fit them .
I will try the none bumper removal method first, however that's not the reason I have to wait until July. Hopefully it doesn't go wrong......Some people have managed to do it without removing the bumper and just pulling the original grills out with a sharp hard yank.
Good pic. I've always wanted to see the two side by side.
What colour/design?Should finally be getting my fully painted ones tomorrow
