Cupra R Brembo Paint Colour

Had two of my chipped wheels repaired today by Wicked Wheels in High Wcombe. The work was excellent expect one of the Red Capilers was chipped.

Does anyone know where to buy the paint from? Will halfords Capiler kit be okay?

When you say repaired did you have to get the whole of the wheel done or just the chips? One of mine has a nasty nick in it.

I had the alloy wheel repaired but they chipped the capiler. Any ideas on the paint?

Im not sure if getting the paint mixed will do (as i think it needs to be high temp) but ive used hamerite (sp?) and a paint that was "brembo colour" but the hamerite was too orange and the other was too dark, im going to try an dmix to get my backs to match

foliatec red is a good match not 100% but it will take a keen eye to spot it, its proper brake caliper paint, halfords sell it at £23.99 im sure it can be found cheaper else where.

Japlac signal red from B&Q/where ever much cheaper and it's FINE. Brush or spray.

Went to halfords to buy their own brand of Red High temp engine paint which also works on Caplier and I must say it is very close to the Bembo colour. Plus it was only 7.99.

It might not be a good colour match, but for anybody considering painting their brakes Hammerite paint is superb. I did my callipers on the Celica in red and it lasted ages without looking faded or worn. It looked as good when I sold it as it did when I did it. Damn cheap too
