Things are really hotting up at SEAT! As well as the dramatic new
Ibiza Bocanegra, the Spanish firm also took the wraps off the revised Leon Cupra and the
Ibiza FR at the Barcelona Motor Show.
The Leon Cupra gets minor styling updates inside and out and boasts the same 237bhp 2.0-litre TSI turbo engine as the previous model. It also gets a new electronic limited slip differential called XDS, as well as options such a touchscreen satnav. Sales should start in the summer.
The
Ibiza FR is powered by a 148bhp 1.4-litre TSI turbocharged and supercharged engine, hooked up to a seven-speed DSG paddleshift gearbox. It gets the XDS differential system as standard along with a bodykit and 17-inch wheels. Sales start in July, with a price tag of around £14,500. A more powerful 178bhp Cupra version should cost £16,000 and go on sale in August.

Ibiza's 25th anniversary, the firm had every generation of the popular supermini on display, including the original. To mark the occasion, SEAT revealed a special edition
Ibiza, which gets a whole host of kit including climate control, privacy glass, 17-inch alloys and a USB port with Bluetooth.
