I changed from an EP3 CTR with 265BHP to an FN2 CTR then I got the Leon FR550 had it mapped and its nearly 215bhp 335lb/ft torque. Must admit the buzz I got from the CTR's was great with the rev limit on my modded ep3 at 9,000. However, the performance of my seat now its re-mapped is comparable to the CTR (FN2).

I had a play with a golf GTi and pulled away from him all the way up to 70mph, had a cars length at that speed. The CTR is a lovely car best seats ive ever seen in a hat hatch and the interior is much better than the leon. Im saving a shed load of money now though and with a similar performance. Would like to remove the DPF next and get her re-mapped again just to see what I could get.

Have you seen the new CTR in championship white? Its got an LSD as standard so should be much better on the twisties.

Nice to hear a Cupra owner bigging up the FR TDI, just because its toally different doesnt make it a bad car. Ive said a few times i would LOVE a Cupra, but I just cant justify the cost of running it day in day out....
