I have the same problem with my Cupra sometimes. Between 3 and 3.500 r/pm the car sometimes hesitates. When you lift the throttle and put it back on the problem disappears. It's very strange and isn't an constant problem. It happens ones in a while. Usual when you want to sprint against something else :censored:

Hope someone can shed some light on this problem

Yeah that would be good, it is starting to happen more frequently now so should be easier to detect. I may have to have a word with Olly and see if we can shove his MAF in there for the day and go for a bit of drive just to eliminate that. Gotta be worth a shot.

i have a TDI with the same problem, most of the time its ok and sometimes when i press the pedal it holds back like yours and when i release and press again it goes alright. Havent diagnosed yet but i suspect my MAF as its on 112k, but having said that ive never heard a MAF give an intermittent problem
