OK folks,

Im wanting to do the conversion from my rough, plastic FR B & C pillars to the Cupra style high gloss black finish. I have the front bumper done with the black behind the number plate and also the black front grill. Mirror caps have also been done in black so this is the final mod to complete the Cupra look!

Where can i get these from other than from a dealer if possible? (bound to be cheaper...) or would i just order them from the dealer?

Thanks

David

pm seremotors. he's the cheapest for parts on here. the b pillars really easy. the c pillars are trickier, but shoulf have between 30min to an hr each to fit. total cost is about £70 i think.

ok, so David at SERE motors got me sorted with these and the the B pillars were fitted not long after i picked them up! looks far better already so im well pleased!

However, im trying to get the C pillars (back door handles) fitted today and im having a bit of difficulty.

How exactly do you remove the door card?? ive got 3 or 4 screws out from various places but am i right in thinking the fabric part of the door has to be pulled off to unveil a few more screws? how is this done without marking the surrounding plastic? ive tried edging it out with a flat headed screwdriver but it just isnt budging! HELP!

I've got to get around to fitting my C pillars soon. Did the B pillars in about 5 minutes but it was starting to rain and I couldn't be arsed to do the C pillars. Was meant to bring them home and do them over the long weekend but forgot them and left them in work.

Will take a few photos and try and write an English guide in the week if I have a chance! :)

take a look at this guide, this is where I learnt how to remove door cards.

Hope this helps, good luck.

That guide would indeed have helped a lot! thanks

Unfortunately (or fortunately) i had already went ahead with the help of a friend and we managed to complete this today! :funk: Im very pleased with the outcome and glad to report that the final "Cupra" mod is complete.

30mins each side is very very optimistic im my opinion though... There are so many stages that are just very fiddly and patience was running low but we got there in the end!
