i had a gunmetal colour momo gear knob that was metal and was freezing in the winter, wouldnt match in the ibiza thou so need to find another one

Hey peeps, just got my microphone gear knob today, i must say dispite what ppl i think it looks great.... well u cant go any worse then the standard one can u? and if that was good enough i got it for just £30 on eBay.... BARGAIN AND A HALF! anyway im really unsure as to how to install it.

unclip the gaiter, lift it up, bend or cut the metal clip for the gearknob and off she comes

Can someone tell me how to do this more in depth coz usually id work it out myself but its the kinda thing if u fk up once u cant put it right, many thanx in advance, Sam

did the ebay one come with a metal ring/clamp ?

havent started..... dont have a clue how to unclip the gaitior or do anything with it tbh i assume so, is the metal clamp the brass ring resting to the bottom of the knob (lol, i found that imaturely funny).... if so yes thanks for a reply
