Cupra Engine Knock??

My Cupra seems to have an engine knock, this only happens when it's pulling away in gear at low rev's, ie It doesnt do it when reving out of gear....is this normal as when i took it back to the dealer the noise was normal or they just don't hear what i do...i picked up the car with 8miles on the clock, it's now done nearly 400 and i know the noise wouldn't be down to abuse...theres no lack of performance, ive used super u/l since day one apart from £5 worth of regular u/l due to being empty and nowhere near a "better" station.

Just tried it again and the noise was not there when the engine was cold, still there when warm though... :(

I know the noise you mean, it happens when it's had a good run.
I couldn't decide if it was the engine knocking (engine mount) or the steering.

I would go for the engine mount after some more careful listening

I know the noise, sounds like its coming from the clutch, My old 'R' used to do it also. Nothing to worry about if it is the same noise. Sounds like 3 or 4 knocks when pulling away, also get it whenriding the clutch especially on a hill start.
