Cupra 300 General Discussion and Pics

turned off soundaktor in ODB11. That did cause a vibration rattle in my 300 when descending the rev range about 2500 rpm in cuppa mode.

Otherwise 7500 miles in my 300 4drive and no rattles.

Cupra 300 - wheel hop?

Nowt on TV the other night so found myself watching car reviews on the web, mostly about the Cupra 300.

Quite a few of them seemed to suggest that the wheel hop problem had been sorted or at least considerably reduced.

Can any 300 owners comment?

Sorry if this has been asked already and I've missed it!

Wheel spin yes but actual wheel hop where it judders if this is what your referring to no not suffered this yet and the st version is 4wd so can't see it on that version either

Wheel hop issues this has been discussed a long time ago. Look at the stage 1 and 2 tunes for the cars. Can't complain at stock Cupra its very tame.

Uprated engine mounts cost 200 quid for the engine and tourqe mount. Can't stress enough how much of an improvement they make for such a little price.

The 300 still uses OEM mounts wether they cost 10 quid more and have made a difference I don't know.

Is the sound actuator configurable in the drivers profiles?
I noticed this brochure for 2018 model:

I don't get wheel hop or tramp as such, but it does crash if I hit a bump or ripple under wheelspin.
