all the power going to the front wheels, coupled with the twisting force causes the wheel to scrabble for grip, and bounce.
the uprated mounts are stiffer so less twisting action from the engine, hence less bounce.

Cheers for that :)

Just round the corner.
Mines been remapped by JBS at the GTI show at Bruntingthorpe.
The only way out was up the strip after the remap. Went up against a LCR (driver told me it had been remapped to 270ish) had a sh!t start but at the end was only 3-4 lengths behind him.

I put the car on the rollers that were there.
She pulled 196.5bhp, and 237lb torque, and it was a hot day.

She'e been on the rollers again, but was down abit.
Hybrid and exhaust have got to be next, as well as brakes.

Is that from an early Cupra? I'm amazed at how much these cars vary in power after remaps (I know there can be dyno lottery involved however..)

That's quite a healthy torque increase, quite noticeable :-D

I presume your replying to mine!

Torque is cracking, but with everyone else I know who have Leon's (all are LCR's)
and they've been "helped" I trail well behind them.
