crunching gears changing into 3rd

My 03 plate LC has started to crunch when changing into 3rd. If I change into 3rd quick when the revs are still high it crunches, If i change into 3rd slowly then it doesn't. The clutch has always had a low biting point and this hasn't changed and there is no problem in any other gear just 2nd to 3rd.

Any ideas?

My 03 cupra is doing the same thing, clutch seems fine also.

Mine used to the same. Turned out the clutch switch was playing up so wasn't cutting the revs.

Worth checking out? VAGCOM should show it, if it is dodgy. Not a very expensive part and a doddle to fit.
