well a small update, done a few skims of filler after the welds were all grounded back, getting its shape back now!

haha cheers mate, yeah the front end aint causing me too much problems, its the bloody rear of the thing, the bed is simply awfull and so is the inner side walls and wheel arches of the thing.. i couldnt find one which was half decent.. i just feel its going to look shite and i dont want people critising it... im only a whiper snapper and never done anything like this before..just used this as a learning curve but think i fell over my depth :(

if it's metal and motorised then man can fix/change/modify/tune it so take ya time, the more you spend on it the better it gets

do they do any bed floor/side panels new ?

How else do you learn how to swim - if you wanted to be in your comfort zone you would have bought a brand new car - where's the fun in that. As he said, keep it up, you're doing a grand job :)

did you see that textured paint stuff i was on about ?

depends on what ya doing with it ?

always put a tonneau cover over it :) we won't tell anyone :p

naah all caddy panles are obsoleate, only do an after market bed at about £500.... i supppose your all right.. maybe being a bit hard on myself,, just been one of those days again....

as for that textured paint, do you have a link? i want like a heavy orange peel effect for the bed and side walls, helps hide blemishes

as it says though cover ANYthing you don't want it on even accidentally as it will stick like **** to a blanket even to glass

yeah i read that bit, the only over thing ive seen is liek a super hardcore stonechip, big chunks of rubber, use it on powerplants and things..dunno what its called or where to get it tho

could always cut it all out and mid-engine it ? rear axle + BMW V8 not been done i bet yet ;) cheap 7 series around anyone ????
