cracked windscreen!!!

hey this weather has cracked my windscreen anybody know how hard this is to do yourself and where to get a new one from cheap?

Its not something that i would recomend doing yourself, as it contributes to the structural integrity of your car.

Is your insurance fully comprehensive?

Same here bud. I'm 3rd party and got a quote of £348 for a new one fitted! Opted for adding it as an extra to my insurance and then claiming sometime down the line...

as above, it is bonded not an easy task to remove let alone replace!

I got one fitted by nationwide autoglazing for £100 +VAT. Didn't have a top tint though just a normal screen.

nah it had been chipped for over a year but was to close to the edge of the window to repair so was just putting it off since it passed its mot no boiling water involved was just waiting for it to happen and the cold weather got to it.

100 plus vat sounds good to me tho cheers
