Hi
Had my car in for a service today and told them I've had some water leaking into boot when I open it.
I hadn't thought to look at the lights, which as the dealer (SG Petch Durham) identified, were cracked and taking water in.
It's a lease car, which I have a maintenance cover for, but they're refusing to cover the costs as it is apparently "user error".
The cracks are along the length of the light bar, seemingly concentrated in 4 areas. The cracks also seem to coming from inside as I can't feel any cracks externally, and there is no damage whatsoever to the surrounding bodywork.
My question is, should this be covered under SEAT warranty? The dealer quoted me +£400 (and also a broken rear washer jet to boot
).
