Costco tyres

I know its not the chosen tyre for many but Costco currently have 20% off a set of 4 michelins.

Just had 4 michelin pilot sport 2 fitted to my lcr for £415 which is a pretty good deal.

I've been slipping and sliding on my well used pirellis with the traction control flashing away, amazing what difference a new set makes even if they aren't the preferred chicie of many. hopefully get a few more miles out of them too.

pilots have a straight tread band so they are good for cornering when warmed up, straight in the wet they can slide a bit under braking, even aquaplaning.

I found it a different scenario on my old MK4 Golfs, but on the Leon i think the PS2's suit the car better than the F1's. They just never have felt right since i fitted them, no matter how much faffing i do with pressures.... i could get more power down and had better cornering stability with the Michys.

I think thats expensive, I've never paid more than 180.00 for two to brand tyres. I'd of expected more off than that. Costco is good, but it still pays to shop around before going in there.
