correct oil for LC

Anyways Euro are doing this:

Just make sure the oil has the correct VW Specs (check manual). Im sticking with Castrol Edge 10W60 this time round (Castrol Edge 5W30/5W40 TD are also highly recommended)

That will do fine, it complies with VW 504 spec which is what the car requires.

ECP are selling Castrol Edge 5W30 for £28 though! Think I'll stock up!

Rant time,

I hate how most oil manufacturers don't do 5L bottles. 4L is not enough for my car so I have to buy a 1L bottle which is usually nearly as much as the 4L one! 1L bottle should be 1/4 of the price of the 4L one!!

I agree, therefore Im glad Castrol does 5L bottles

Or just get it from work out of a big barrel I used quantum 5/40 when I serviced mine at the weekend
