Hi, i'm a bit new to all this and was after a bit of help. :help:

Ive recently cleaned my car using clay and Meguiars 3 step.

Ive now bought some Collinite 476s to protect it over the winter.

Can i just wash and apply the Collinite?
Or do i need to repeat the steps i did before? (then apply the Collinite)
All the steps or just some of them?

Sorry for the n00b qustions!!

If you done the 3 Step then you can just apply the collinite straight after. Remember to leave 1 hour or 24 hours between coats.

As a rule of thumb, Mash, you should be looking to fully strip/clay/cleanse and seal a car once every six months.. Varies massively however on the use/where its kept/condition etc..

But, as jonjay says, a few weeks down the line you should be fine to re-apply a wax.

As above, anything more than a month after DC3 I'd perhaps looks to cleanse again though as it's VERY poor durability wise so the paint would probably be unprotected again. If it's a couple of weeks, then a layer or two of 476S will be fine to just apply over the top.

Cheers

Russ.

I order stuff from autogeek constantly and love the site. I actually ordered stuff for a while before I read I could get a discount for being a forum member and using the codes. My confusion is with the 10% discount.
