Anyone had difficulty getting this to function? It's ticked but doesn't seem to work

I did get mine to work through vcds, but a few problems came from it
Whenever a door is opened or interior lights switched on the coming home lights come on
And a "check left headlight" warning comes on very frequently also

I had a look on the seat site that says

To activate the coming-home function in the SEAT Leon , it is sufficient to leave the light switch in the dipped beam position. Due to the coming-home function, a dead battery because you forgot to turn off the lights becomes a thing of the past.
Having found an old post it sounds like you have to push the headlight stick backwards or forwards and then open the door.

Bit annoying that it's not automated as they make out

ours have always worked without any additional tinkering. We just made sure they where selected in settings and the light switch is turned to 'auto'

Yep, mine also always worked if left in auto on the light switch, but don't leave it on as I have a security light for my drive anyway.

It's a great ice-breaker cos people come up to you and tell you you've left your lights on and then you can spend hours exploring your options with them! :smoke:

Devjord this is the guide I used, if it's tuned on I get the check left headlight error, then if I turn off it goes away and so on. Do you get this also?

I don't get any errors on mine. That guide is for those who don't have auto headlights, which I'm assuming you don't.

Yeah I don't have auto lights, just did this to get them
Tried again last night and the error still comes up whenever I do this, strange

Would be very interested to know about this myself also, as whether I leave the setting on or off or leave the lights set to dipped etc it doesn't seem to do anything at all.

The guide is for those that don't have auto lights.

If your car doesn't come with auto lights, then you don't get CH/LH lights. This guide will map your lights to the interior light function.

If you don't have auto lights like myself pull the left stalk to you then open the door , can be changed to different timing
