Collecting the ibiza tomorrow!

Collecting the ibiza gti 16v tomorrow and i can't wait.

Problems it currently has:
The notorious electric window issue, you have to push the passenger side back up. Is the expensive to sort? Im guessing it needs a new motor?


Dent on the back bumper
Cracked passenger side mirror cover
Slight scratch on the passenger side wing (Tcut job!)

Is there anything else i should watch out for? The car is on a 'R' 1997 and has covered 67k.

Nothing that I haven't already informed you about dude.

The window mechs are about 50 quid, they can be quite difficult to find though. I got mine from a company called 'Only VW Motorsport' (slight contradiction in the firm's name!) who were breaking a Cupra Sport like mine.

Everything seems right about that car mate. It's been well looked after, it's had a cambelt and regular services... The top mounts are prone to going but that's pretty much it, they're pretty reliable second hand cars.

Hey, might as well let other people know of the problems im having!! Means they are able to keep an eye out for them and maybe even prevent them before it actually happens!!

Well you can, as brummy has told me you drill through the two overlapping plates that are spot welded together and you put a self locking nut and bolt thru the hole. It holds it together more securely than th 2 spot welds!!
