Its a massive improvment, the only way to describe it is the car turns alot flatter now than the old roll/boat-i-ness you used to get. I think the coilovers were £550 on there own but if you look in the Big Boys Toys section they have the prices up there

If you would like to buy it i want to sell it! Just waiting for BBT to get back to me with how much the milletk and apr is going to be.

How does the car turn in now? any signs of understeer?

Before I did mine people warned me I may get extra understeer, have to say I didn't discover any extra understeer.

Well Chris at BBT said to get the tracking done in a certain way to eliminate (as much as possible) the under steer but i couldn’t get anyone to set it up correctly (im still looking tho) so its not 100% complete yet but the tracking is set to standard.

There are some signs of under steer but its more me pushing the car to the limit to see what it can do etc, ow and im coming to the end of my tyres life.

I did notice the back end twitch out a few times but that was on a big round about in the wet with me "testing" the cars new abilities.

Need to get the car out on the road for a few more tests then im going back to BBt to get the set up tweeked and have a play around with a few of the settings to find the best for me.

just wondering what arb kit you got off h&r as on their site they say that front is 26mm and rear is 22mm? ?

i think scotty had the same arb kit as I have - my front is 26 and rear is 22... but scotty will need to confirm that.

I also had a spray that came with the coilovers - they were coated in it but it just looked like an ordinary spray - not sure what a wax spray looks like..

scotty...

i think the spray is there to help keep it lubed up so u can adjust the height without any probs!

mine were caked in dirt when i changed my brake pads a week ago so i gave them a whipe.

as for blueflame scotty...

it seams u have had a lot of bad luck with them!

whereas i havnt!

when chris fitted my FK silverlines i asked him (and i looked for myself) to see if whether the rear box would get fouled over the rear beam... mine is fine! (and my car looks lower than yours!)

iv had no nocking watsoever and as for your comments about being 3" here and 2.75" there... mine seams to be a consistant size all the way!

its almost like our systems are COMPLETELY different!

not sure wat else to say... except im very happy with mine!

as for our coilovers... i absolutely love them! :D

car feels sooo much more planted and does handle soooo much better (much more chuckable)... wen i was at brands all the other LCRs were leaning like bardges in the bends where as i wasnt! :)

and like i originaly said (and it seams u agree...) the ride quality is very similar to OE i think! :)

james :)

Not as cold. :) ;)

you will see when you fit yours :p

You're right. It's running 5-10'C cooler

I have SEAT part numbers for a bolt that's longer than the stock one by 5mm, but otherwise the same - even has the captive washer on it, I'll dig it out.
