Dropped my older mk2 off at the garage to get some coilovers fitted while im at work (from clubpolo) as i have no free time for the coming month, and they've just rung to tell me they're too low for the car and the wheels are rubbing on the bodywork.. .without going down there myself I can't see what exactly it is they're doing wrong, anyone got any ideas for the obvious?
Am i right in that the car will sit lower if the helper spring is wound closer to the bottom?
Any help appreciated as quick as you can give it!
Cheers

What did they do wrong?

wound the helper spring to the bottom assuming that extending the spring results in maximum height, despite me telling them four times that the car sits lower with the spring wound low. Ah well, got the labour free for my troubles so can't complain really! :)

Ride's a bit hard on them tho, prefer my FK's but all in all they're not bad for the money
