Coil pack maybe lcr

could anyone tell me what are the symptoms for a broken coil pack? i have my engine managment light on an a light with a circle in the middle also flashing, also my cylinder nearest my air box is the one i belive is damaged. car hasnt felt as fast as normally is. is there a way of testing the coil pack? cheers.

when you put ya foot down to give it some the turbo will spin then just stop

still goes but can feel one piston not firing an the lights i described are on. would that be coil pack or more serious? cheers

could be if it is the coil change all of them not just one cause when one goes they all usually go

whats damage for 4 an how do they go? do they slowly wear out or just go randomly. my car hasnt felt as fast recently. could this have been why? should i go seat or somewhere else? where sells cheap but good coils?

if you can find a vw/audi/seat parts,actually give these a ring 01634727911 there a main parts they deal to main dealers, all orignal parts brand new think i got 4 new coil packs for £125 will be alright to drive just dont nuts it

I had 4 new coil packs, around £100 mark from dealers if you say you are trade, which i actually am but anybody can go in and say your from john smiths autos. thank you very much and goodbye. and get them at a good discount.

ONLY GET GENUINE ONES!!! DO NOT REPLACE WITH CHEAP COPY PARTS! they just wont be up to the job on a LCR. and probably last half the time anyway pay cheap pay twice..

before yours went did you have a loss of power an top end speed? need to find a garage close to bordon.. do they just go randomly or wear out together?

you need to get a diagnostic scan or vag com to see what is up if there are any problems, maybe MAF, MASS AIR FLOW Sensor, they normally can play a part in poor performance and a number of other thingas thats why you need it scanning to see what errors are there. it may not be a coilpack but it wont hurt to change them, if its missfiring you will tell if a coil pack is down, you will hear it running on 3 cylinders and also hear it through the exhaust

yeah its defo runnin 3 cylinders its one nearest air box thats out because i disconected all four when running an the 1st 3 left to right changed engine note an 4th didnt make any difference. i was driving in 6th before an couldnt rev over 5400rpm but in other gears i could rev higher. would this be the start of faulty coil pack?

You'll need vagcom to clear all the faults and turn the warning light off mate

Just disconnect neg on battery for over half hour to reset ecu and light will go off. mine has started with this problem tonight, nursed it home, plugged my vag com in and this was what it found

Not worried about top one though,cause this comes up now and then since exhaust was fitted.
