Cockpit media display (CarPlay)

I have had car play for a while now, and I’ve noticed that the media on the cockpit when plugged in to CarPlay displays “Apple CarPlay” only, is there a way to display the song names etc... while plugged in to CarPlay ?

E.G. OBD Eleven ??

Sadly not. I think the Mk 4 will support it, like the newer Audi's, but the current cars don't seem to sadly. The newer Audi's can even have the full car play screen on their Virtual Cockpits...
