I am about to fit the Cobra Res Delete to my non GPF Seat Leon Cupra 300, and I was wondering if anybody has fitted this or any other res delete and had the following issue that is noted on Cobra website

EML lights may activate after removing the standard O/E catalyst. An ECU Re-map is recommended to correct this problem and stabilise all power increases.
As I haven't fitted it yet I am just doing some due diligence before I do as I am not intending on remapping the car until next year, and if this is an issue that others have experienced, then I won't look to fit the mod until then. I am hoping this is just an backside covering exercise from Cobra and I will be fine to fit the res delete when it arrives, as opposed to waiting until remap next year.
