rite well what i want to know is what problems does the clutch postion sensor cause if its broke???? ive not got no faults coming up... but it does keep slipping out and i dont know how far to screw it in... it feels like the clutch is slipping.... mainly in 3rd whet i poot my foot down the engine revs but the car hardleys pulls.. its still boosting the same according to the boost gauge... just dont wana go changing the clutch if its not that... cheers

Thats your clutch master cylinder, the slave cylinder is ontop of the box.

No electrics in there mate, all hydraulic

thort it was a clutch position sensor... it screws in the hole under your dash just under above your clutch pedal...and it does have an electrical connection to it

Your possibly seeing the brake light switch, i could be wrong tho

its possible mate, its there for a reason. it just screws into the hole, chances are you have knackered the plastic threads on it . they aren't expensive to replace from the dealers though :)

there was a thread with a good pic of how far to have it screwed in not too long ago. If you search up on "snapped clutch pedal" you'l find it as i know it was in a thread someone started when the pedal snapped mate
