Everything went fine with my attempt at the repair yesterday, two pointers that should help you guys

  1. Remove the plastic bushes from the clutch pedal, i didn't and managed to burn one of them.
  2. Thread a 5mm cable tie through the clutch spring pull tight, offer the spring into position, then snip the cable tie. Keep your head out of the way - it hurts when the pedal hits your forehead.

All working fine now :funk:

I have joined the "Broken clutch pedal" club as well

After reading all the threads on here I decided to let a garage do the job (lazy yes, sensible - Hell Yeah!! :D)

Should be picking it up tomorrow, then I can fit the Dynatwist.

I did exactly the same thing with the bush, do you have the part number for it because Seat dont know what i mean and have ordered the wrong part in for me three times, even though i have shown them pictures of where it should go, pointed to it on their system, but still they have sent me a metal bush, a three inch plastic bush and two metal clips, finding it hard to see the funny side of things now.

Cheers
