sash organic is pretty much same as standard, so theres going to be nothing to worry about really.
No stalling as its almost the same as standard, you can progressively feel when the clutch bites as with standard clutches. this is because the organic ones and standard ones are a 'sprung' plate where as your friends ford will be on a ridgid paddle plate causing the on-off feeling and the stalling for those who arent used to it

where you mention the noise its only the single mass flywheels which some people run that do this giving a fair bit of 'chatter' when at lights etc. but i've still got my Dual mass and its spot on so I cant see you guys needing to change that.

the clutch pedal may be a little bit heavier, but i mean very very slight, hardly noticable so no issues there.

its pretty much a direct replacement tbh, if your car has over 75k on the clock i would recommend a new flywheel though, just because if that goes it'll take the clutch with it.

If you guys werent so far away i'd have let you have a goosey in mine so you can compare :)

Thanks that is all really helpful and answers all my questions. My car is a 54 plate but only done 41k! So guess the next step is to find the cheapest Sash organic clutch then get some one who knows what they are doing to fit it. Gonna cost and arm and a leg I know it! But I think I will get this done before the remap and be sensible!

hi guys, got a cupra tdi and been remapped at jabba bout 10 months ago...

clutch started slipping over xmas and they said it could be the real cold weather we had, anyways... i am expecting it to be going sometime soon and looking at uprated one's. however i really dont feel like spending nearly£900 for them to fit a sachs organic!

does any1 no of any other options i may have??

cheers people!

even before I done a remap on my pd130, I saw my clutch slipping, but at the time it was really cold, -3ºC ... when I remapped, even with a 395Nm (291 lb/ft) limit, sometimes slips

so ... it slips more in cold? YES
can the stock clutch handle more than 290lb/ft? NO [:@][:@]
