Hi Guys, still a newbie on here but have learnt so much the last few weeks on here, its my turn for a question now LOL, I have searched by the way and couldn't find anything that fits the bill.

Bit of Background, Brough an LCR start of July (O4 48k miles), got delivered but went straighback because of a gearbox whine in overrun on 3rd, garage got the gearbox reconed and 3 weeks later I had the car back, since then i've not really been out in it much, the missus has it most of the time.

Anyway, there is a clicking noise coming from the front left area, I can hear it over bumps, accelrating, braking.
I pushed down on the slam panel this morning and it does it then too.
Not sure if it may be connected to a whirring noise from that area too, i put it down to the terrible tyres the dealer put on for me (Maxis) having loads of tyre noise but now i'm thinking it could be connected.
The wirring sounds a bit like a wheel bearing, the gearbox is fine now and the noise is there with clutch in/out coasting and in gear from about 15mph plus.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, as I have said earlier my warranty is with a dealer that is not SEAT, they are Ford so you have to point them really good in the right direction, not sure whether to drop this problem in to them first or the intermitant air con fans LOL :D

Thanks

Jon

Sounds like it could be the anti roll bar, is it a metalic click/knock sound had it on mine. Did me a favour as I thinking of uprating the anti-roll bar anyway.

Yeah thats the one, I thought it was to be honest, but wanted to put it out there, if it is that I might do with the upgrading option to be honest, want to get the wheel bearing checked out though!

Turn the wheels to the right (full lock) look behind the n/s wheel and shine a tourch at the arb follow it to where it goes through a bush (just under engine) and have a look to see if there's any flakes/signs of rust as this is where mine had given up the ghoust. To be honest get both front & rear arbs as it only works out about £100 more for both. Makes a huge difference to the handling[B)]

Quick update note on the problem incase people search with the same problem, it was diagnosed as the ARB rusting away and some split bushes. As Said Above:)
All done now and touch wood seems alot better, certainly feels alot tighter than before.
Thanks for the suggestion
