I've done 1.1k in car now and I noticed sometimes on release of brake pedal I get a click, no pattern to it, brake pedal also has alot of movement left to right. My previous VAG cars didn't make the sound and another 18 yr old Audi I still have doesn't do it and no play in brake pedal. Anyone else get this on new Leon? It under warranty but dealership is a trek to get there and back so before I take it wondered if others have issue and if its normal ?

We also have this in our 2020 FR 1.5 150. The car is in for its first service and we have asked for this to be looked at (given the courtesy car does not do it). I'm wondering if it is linked somehow to the automatic handbrake mechanism.

Mine started doing this today too. It's because it's cold out I assume. Not worried about it to be honest.

I just wasn't sure if normal or not, mines being doing it since new put 1.4k miles on it now still doing it, it annoys me as its so loud in mine sounds like you sloppy with the brakes I can hear it above stereo. I had a 2020 Audi before same autobox and engine and it didnt do it ever.

Funny that you mention autohold as today I thought the same as I noticed it never does it with that. I also thought as I have the 300 it could be due to bigger brakes but others are getting it in none 300s.

Let me know if the service people find the issue, mine is not booked in till early Jan as needed courtesy car, got a few others things they need to look at.

Cheers

A friend has a 2020 Audi A3 35TFSI which has done it from day 1.
My new Leon has also done it from the first release of the brake pedal.

Hello All, I just noticed that My 2022 Cupra Leon is making the same noise when Auto Hold is used. A Clunk when releasing the brake pedal. Did you guys had yours sorted? I've 2500 km on it
No mine was meant to go in this week for it but had to cancel, I know someone going in 26th Jan for it, it also seems to be an issue on Formentor, Cupra or Seat probably going to say they all do that but hopefully fix it. Mine happens regardless of autohold being on but does seem worst with autohold on.
