Chrome mirrors

Ive had enough of people denting my mirrors! So I hope I have won the solution on ebay! Bid on it but I cant see from the pic if they fit!
Have a look here!! and break it to me softly!!

Ok, luckily I havent paid yet, but why be that, they look like the oblong shape mirror casings.

They are for the A3 etc mirrors with the sticky out bit in the middle not the Leon ones if i'm not mistaken.

The problem is that as they are chrome it is difficult to see the contours. I cant and took a gamble, but I have had the cases off the mirrors before, and I must say, they look like the same shape, as far as the pictures demonstrate. Lets hope so.

Whick sticky out bit in the middle is that, by the way?

It's hard to describe but the middle bit is contoured outwards almost flared out - might be wrong so take a gamble.

Have a look on Ebay again, but type vw chrome mirrors passat or something like that, i have just bought a set as the mirrors on my Superb are the same as the Passat which are also the same as the Leon and Golf etc. I had mine delivered today and they are spot on! well made product from diygti.com

Oh well, I will wait and see, but fortunately I had a message from a chap who wanted to win them, and will buy them off me for £35!! Jobs a good un!
