Chrome exhaust

Hi,

The exhaust on my leon fr is a chrome twinpipe, but overtime the shine has gone and it just looks mucky all the time no matter how much i scrub.

Can anyone reccommend a good cleaner as I have tryed a few, but none did the trick. Or if there is any particular technique to it? Someone told me that a wire scouring pad type thing can help, but dont wanna scratch the finish on the exhaust....

Any help would be most appriciated cheers

try tar remover first, this will disolve the baked on soot. It may take a couple of goes and some patience, but will do it.

Astonish paste, autosol, used them both over the years.

meguiars metal polish is good.

Take some wire wool and put metal polish on it. Will work a total treat!
