As someone quite rightly said it's a pi$$ing contest..............obviously one for boys with small willy's...."Mine's bigger than yours"

Wonder how an LCR compares to the space shuttle?

So true...what is the point in this?:wtf:
I can add how i spanked E46 M3...i wasnt driving the Cupra though...i was driving the Modena.

My mate had an 04 m3 and now has an audi s4. I have driven both and both are amazing to drive. The power esp from the m3 is amazing. They are incredable cars. He is in a very well paid job and so can afford to have those quality cars. Come on guys admit it, if you were in very high paid jobs am sure you wouldnt have a LCR. I love all leons but if I was earning a very large amount I would deffo not have a leon. It just seems that some people who own bmws etc are up there own arse but some of them are good lads. Love german cars.

Course we wouldnt be driving LCR's if we were rich, you live to your means. If i could afford £40k for an M3 i'd definitely have 1, who wouldn't.

the burbs...
Why are we talking about the M3, if I had the cash a RS4 or S4 would be my first choice in any case.

Cupra's are something different on the road, and for the money good bang for the buck, but thankfully without the stigma BMW has aquired.

Do you really think that? Rather naive in my opinion. Just like people are quick to make a judgement of a bloke in a performance BMW, or a Porsche (as so many 'guess what I best today' threads harp on about), do you not think that people might think the same looking at our cars? Big wheels, bodykits, sometimes a bright colour - flashing other people out of the way, racing other cars, just generally being driven by a twat?

Of course not all sporty Seat's are driven like that, just like not every Porsche Boxster, M3, Merc AMG etc etc is. But people will make that assumption won't they?

There is always a stereo typing affect on what ever you have....

I have an LCR I drive it sensibly most of the time and like a blast from time to time. I use it on track days when possible and that is where I really find out what it can do as the road is no place to race.

I don't know how cupra's are looked on the road but I get lots of comments at work because I come on the internet and chat on sites like this... everyone thinks I am a boy racer because I modify my car, this is me being stereo typed with the hooligan in the Nova 16v who trys to kill other people in a race, (and there I am stereo typing Nova drivers!) We all do it.

We do the best we can with the finances and needs of what we want.....

You give BM drivers a bad name  Pick up the ladies :roflmao: Wouldn't they ask why you had to go for the cheap version?

Wannabe M3 more like. Couldn't quite afford the real thing so you thought you'd come on here and wind us up :censored:

330ci.... A standard LCR will stay with 1. A chipped example will more than make ground on it. Is his car low milage and still tight??

There are tonnes of owners here that have stuck to the rear end of your bigger brother so i doubt a car with 100 horsepower less is going to trouble it

here here another chump in a black mans willy, your mates LCR is ****ed TBH if it cant make serious ground

dont have a problem with the car, just some of the owners and there over inflated views on the car and its performance, same as CTR owners IMO

I dont know what you mean ... ours leaves my LCR for dead ...

might have something to do with me only being able to drive one at a time ;)

All cars have their bad share of drivers, I saw a chav'd up Leon the other day, it was cringing.

As for BM driver, its because they all seem to get tarnished with the Rep attitude which even I admit is bad, but thats probably due to it not being their car.

seems a bit of a strange one to me, when i got my lcr, i was lookin at a 330ci, but sadly was not big enough for the kids!they have very similar performance, but the bmw is the better car, why lie?it has one of the best engines ever made, with great looks and build quality no matter what anybody says!the r is great, but different league really!as for the cheap m3! well yeah,is that so bad! thats also what evo say!

And round and round it goes. To be honest, from your other threads I thought you were a little more open minded than to make a comment like that.

When circumstances allow, I will jump at the chance to buy another BMW, I loved mine. If I can't buy an E46 M3, I would be very proud to own a 325 or 330. Like jhlcr says, so what if its a poor man's M3? Still a cracking car. Would you consider a Cupra a poor man's LCR? Probably not, and I'm not saying it is either. Cupra is cracking car in the same way an LCR is.

I agree 100% that too many BMW drivers consider their car as some sort of inflated **** entension - but reading some of the crap on here, so do a lot of Seat owners.

the rag top is heavier, and does not handle like the coupe, due to the big chunk of roof missin:D, it would feel slow if your lcr is remaped!

i've just read this thread and to be honest it has about as much point as an ashtray on a motorbike, every body likes something a bit different, or else we'd all be driving the same beige shitboxes. we cant exactly harp on about poor mans M3s' some would say the leon is a poor mans s3. and we cant just make wide sweeping generalisations about who drives bm's either, i think the guy was just making the point as he saw it, not trying to wind everybody up, but then some oversensitive soul makes a snidey remark and the bee em guy feels he has to say something back and it just turns into a slanging match. we need to chill out, its only a car not life or death, anyway i'm not having a go at anybody, sod it i'm away to have a few bottles of wine then maybe some beer with my good lady wife, have a nice evening everyone
