Black spoiler? Although I'm not sure what the Ibiza spoiler looks like to really comment.

Theres some pics of other guys spoilers on their car thought about doing it black but didn't know if that would look too OTT with black and white.

Thanks for the comments guys. Don't want it looking stupid!

I'm gonna have to take some better angles of the car i reckon for this! Interesting to see it all if i can make it look good lol.

I'll have to do it when i'm back at work as thats where my Photoshop is.

If you remove every Adobe product from your computer, then restart you can then re-install ;)

There's a good crack on Iso**** (not sure if I'm allowed to type its name?) of CS 4 that's been working for a couple of years so I've heard , I'm looking for CS5 at the moment.

Hey Char.
Thanks for doing a photoshop of your car with the black mirror caps and side skirts on, as I already have the black mirror caps (a total improvement by the way, so you should def get them) and the black wheels as you know, and now I know how it will look lowered and with the skirts which is what I have left to do to mine. Def going to get it done now as looks good, not too tacky but looks good. :)

Hey Claire! Wondered where you've been for a while.
Yeah they're good subtle touches. Where did you get the black mirror caps from by the way?

I've been popping on but not posted in a while. When I bought the car the garage swapped my original silver ones for black ones. Since the car already had the black wheels and they weren't willing to budge on price we asked them to chuck on the black mirror caps as we felt it was the least they could do. I'd probably ask Dave at Sere about getting you some as he's been really good getting bits for me and cheaper than my local dealer. Think they are about £70 though for a pair!

Need to shift my arse and ring insurance company about how much lowering the car is going to increase my premium. Experience on here seems to suggest it's going to be quite a bit but then I think I am a bit older than some of you guys (29 :( ) so maybe not ...

Blimey thats quite pricey for mirror caps! Might have to look at getting them after the spoiler is done.

I'd be interested to see how much it does increase when you do find out. Lol you aren't that much older, i've just turned 21 but that hasn't changed my insurance at all. Think its 25 it starts to go lower isnt it?

All in all, rather tidy job youve done there Char. Lookin fine.
Quick quessie if you don't mind?!
Those smokey repeaters;where did you get them? My searches on ebay etc havent revealed any for a mk5 Ibiza, plenty for Leons/Arosa/Toledo etc etc....getting frustrated. Any pointer?! :)
Very grateful!

Been in the process of doing my I B I Z A letters black, pretty much done now. Just one more coat of lacquer i think. Stick on double sided foam tape, debadge the rear of the car then apply the new letters. Has turned out great.

Gonna try and take the transformers badge off tomorrow, got a new sticker to put in the back window that can't sit with the transformer. Got a spare transformer badge if i ever want it back anywho.

On a downside, my ibiza tax disc holder is gonna have to go when my recently renewed (Just yesterday!) tax disc runs out. I super glued the piece of plastic which goes on top of the disc to the metal so it didn't fall off, for some reason...the WHOLE of the tax disc is now stuck together, can't twist it apart and its left a strange white circle on my windscreen.

The white circle is the residue left behind from the fumes of the superglue. Superglue is a tricky little b***ard, gets everywhere, even when you think you've used a miniscule amount! Prob get rid of it with a good rub of glass cleaner or something ;)

And if the glass cleaner doesnt shift it, i reckon some white spirit would, followed by glass cleaner to get rid of the white spirit residue.
(Clever bf!)
