Looking good!! I have a weitec coilover set installed on my ibi and it's really nice, if you just lower it 25 or 30mm it gonna cost you a lot, if you compare it with a coilover set ;)

Not an update as such, but I've been thinking things over recently and as me and the boyfriend want to get a bigger place next year, if push comes to shove because monthly car payments are too much I'm gonna get rid of the Ibiza.

Purely so i'm not lodged down with car payments up to £220 a month, I'd still stick with a SEAT though and would at the old shape Leon FRs probably. Love these ones.

Still, thats next year anyway!

Its a last resort, hopefully it should be ok. I don't see why it wouldn't as my other half loves the car aswell.

When I told my Mum today what I might do, her face said it all lol. Looked very sad. But I'm only saying its a possibility. If so though, a nice leon FR would do the job perfect from what i've seen on autotrader and pistonheads.

Just a last resort though.

You gonna join me on the LEON brigade then are you?! Would be sad to see your beeza go though as you've put so much into it already.

Haha, only a maybe.

Still got stuff to go on the ibiza as well, which will be next year. Just can't stay in this flat anymore, with a new neighbour and he's far too noisy. So we have to go lol.

You can get some lovely leon FR's though for about £3,000-5,000. But i do love the stormtrooper. Alot lol.

Finally!!

After taking the car to the dealers at 10AM and being told it would have to wait 3 hours for the glue to set, i phone up at 5PM to be told the woman at the dealers had left a voicemail on my phone (which i didn't get) saying the glue actually takes 5 hours to set. So i hell of a long 7 hours later i finally picked up the car with the spoiler attached :D i love it!

Took quite a few angles to really show it off :p

Small update from last.

We had a friend of my other half's Mum come round today who deals with mortgages. We need at least a 5% deposit for a house. He's going to see what the figures are for a mortgage, with the car being on it and without. As the mortgage people will see my car as a permanent fixture.

I've pretty much come to terms with what will probably happen. Won't be looking at an FR as a new car, as its an increase in engine meaning more petrol. And higher insurance.
So i've been looking at MK3-MK4 golfs. Dont like the old Ibiza shapes. The golfs are same insurance as my Ibiza pretty much now. And I could get a loan and save at least £100 a month doing so. However, still have to wait for feedback of figures next week.

As a result, no more mods. My next big mod next year was to get my coilovers (yes i've had coilovers for the last 2-3 months!) they won't be getting fitted anymore.

I'm fine with it though as I've seen great cars for lower prices in great conditions.
