Charge pipe popped off!

My car is completely standard, no remapping. I know very little about cars, where is the pipe that kept popping off and how easy is it to get to??

Mine was on the actual elbow of the pipe, had to get it up onto ramps to easily get to it. Its under the heat shield on the right hand side. The mechanic was right in the end, the clip was wrecked - I was there when he changed it and he showed me.

cant feel any air coming out when the car is idling though

You wouldn't notice air coming out at idle, as there's no boost pressure.

All fixed, was the pipe underneath, had the car on ramps and had the clips replaced, all o.k now, the mechanic said its a common problem and thinks its a design fault as it happens all the time.

My top one blew off yesterday, still under warranty (just) so I phoned dealer in Belfast, the service manager said he'd never heard of it happening before!! In fairness though, the mechanic looked at it, said the pipe was knackered and without a so much as a hesitation ordered one under warranty.
