Changing the Interior

yeah the headlining is a ridiculous price, about £150 i think, visors are about £15 each and handles about £7 iirc, that about right guiness?
looked into it a while ago before i realised you can spray the headlining, and gave up because of the cost of the headlining itself, the fixtures and fittings are fine, it the headlining that costs the earth!
might have to have a go now

£200 sod that it's not gonna cost you that in paint is it much better idea, what paint you gonna use is it just matt black halfords stuff?

yes hense my post edit lol! I would prob just use halfords stuff its not bad actually and is cheap and I don't have to be a good sprayer for spraying material!

you all missed out on me selling my whole cupra upper interior. it went for 50 quid! headining light everything. cupra headlining is actually smooth not the fleece like stuf in the fr ad so on. but looks ok painted

yeh I remember thinking about buying it but decided I would never go that far with the modding of the car, oh how things have changed!

yep thats the way it goes. i said i would never mod my ibiza as i came from a 1.2 within 3 months its was over 200bhp. then it started going mad! same will happen with the golf. milltek will be next

yep the haly stuff is good, I havent laqured anything in mine just lots of layers of paint and a good primer coat. Thought the laq might make it shine :S and yep dan ya spot on matey with the prices

Sun visors from Cupra, all the others are the wrong shape, rest of the stuff comes from vRS apart from stuff that was trimmed of course!

Middle sun visor was sprayed...

Looks good mate. Makes a big difference...I may have to get some of that Halfords spray for my W8 light.

I believe the new Octavia VRS' come with black ones as standard if this helps? Something along those lines comes with it anyway!
