i have just finished respraying my visors and grab handles! the visors came out FAB! cant believe how well the come up with a little bogo halfrauds matt black! the grab handles arent taking the paint very well. its scratches off quite easily. so im going have to lacquer them to protect it, i tried to get the pillars out, but they were too diff to get off.

i noticed from some of the pics ( guinness ) that there are chrome air vent surrounds , mine are crappy two tone grey , can these be changed?

Yes mate, chrome, aluminium or primered so you can paint them yourselve, air vent surrounds they are, get them from the stealers, not very expensve IIRC, about £20
they're a :censored: to fit the middle ones, but they look a damn site better than the black plasticy ones!

A pillars are easy just pull very hard and try not to break the clips (shouldnt though)

B pillars you need to take take the back quater trims off undo the 2 screws behind them, and pull or slide down slide down leave the clips in but doesnt break the pillar. Also to get the seatbelt out of the pillar, I pulled the bottom trim off and undid the bar holding the end of the belt slipped it off and fed it through the b pillar.

C pillars are probably the hardest there is a screw underneith the middle pillar (that just pulls off) then there are 2 screws behind the back plastic the part that holds the seat belt, these need screws undoing to come off as well. Its straight forward and easy enough to do though so you shouldnt have a problem though mate.

Thanks guiness....just so im sure of what to attack and how...am i right in thinking that the A pillars are at the front and B in the middle and C at the back (boot) with that trim going across the top?

oh it's a masterpiece, the headlining's got another coat of black now it looks professional, as the last attempt was a bit patchy, this one looked good on the floor of the garage too before i put it back in, and the pilars have come up a treat, scratched like a bitch getting the headlining back in so a quick touch up and it looks mint :) few quid saved anyway.

and whoever put the ibiza together obviously didnt intend for the c pilars to be taken out, they were a bitch! everytime you think you've done it there's another chuffing screw!

looking good now ;)
