from reading of other posts, once a build week has been confirmed, seat factory will not be able to change what you have ordered.

If its before its been scheduled at the factory, then yes you can change it.

good luck though :)

I was told the same, that once a build week has been set (which in my case was before I'd ordered the car) the spec couldn't be changed.

candy white is not a colour the factory recognises as a list colour. The garage need to order a Red leon then change the colour to white by contacting the factory direct as a special transaction.
This is what has happened with mine, better not be red when it turns up!

SEAT dealers seem pretty clueless as to the cars they are selling.

Things like changing the colour on the order to get Candy White should be the sort of thing they know.

I wasn't even told I was getting the new model year and that the grill surround had changed. Luckily I love the black surround.

I've been in other SEAT dealers before when they didn't even know what colours are avaliable, it seems SEAT bring out new colours that the dealers are unaware of.

Found dealers in general were un-proffesional, lacked knowledge of product and un helpful. [:@]

Cant understand it. Surley if your a salesman you need to know what you sell, I would love to give them the benifit of the doubt and that they dont recieve proper training.

I asked the stealer whats this seat assistance stuff on the tax disc holder, he said he forgot about that, I told him didnt he think that it would be a good selling point and he said suppose so

I found out more about the car from reading posts on this site then the stealer so keep up the good work ev one ;)

My stealer kept chaning his mind and giving different information whenever I spoke to him.

For example when I did the test drive he said never use supermarket petrol and always use Super Unleaded. The day before delivery I needed to sign some papers and asked where the nearest petrols station to the garage was and he goes 'Asda'. So I replied I thought you said not to use supermarket petrol and his reply was 'I never said that'.

To be honest the whole experience of buying my latest car has been that unpleasant, I may as well have gone to a car supermarket where at least you don't expect to get much advice.

My Cupra wasn't even valetted properly when I picked it up.

If all dealers become this bad, they will eventually die out as you pay the price, but don't get the service.

Totally agree - I have a whole list of stories from my experience of purchasing the Leon, add that to the rubbish customer service and constant phone calls.

Where do I start :(

maybe with the day I brought in the part exchange for inspection only to get a call from the same bloke the same day asking when im bringing in the car for inspection.

or- the day I came in with all my old docs for them to photocopy as requested only to be ushered into an altea (he thought I was there for a test drive:lol:)

or-being told im lucky I got a tax disc cause he just sent a customer off with a new Leon and forgot to give him it.

or-being told collection date was thurs am and after taking day off work being told he didnt know what I was doing there as he never releases a vehicle till after 4:30pm

but best was when I asked how the boot button worked and after he played with it for a bit he told me to press boot and unlock buttons simultaniously twice in quick succession. Only to get home and read manual and find he had actually deactivated the alarm
