Baisicly just wondering if its a hard job as mine has never been done and looks a bit dodgey. Also bit skint at the moment so just wondering if its a DIY job?
yep, piece of pee. mentioned several times before, its just a straight swap out, disconnect 2 pipes, remove big circlip and pull plunger up put new one in and do the reverse.
Fuel filter isn't expensive and is easy as above to remove.
Getting the two rubber pipes on and off is a pain in the backside though ... got to pinch the clips with pliers and pull them - I've always hated doing it.
I usually use molegrips to pinch and hold the clips loose while I pull the pipes off.
Make sure the drain on the bottom is tight
Also make sure you've got the right filter before ditching the old one.
The first one given to me by the dealer looked identical on top, same fittings etc, but was 2-3" too short and dropped right down the holder.
