Changing Aeriel???

Just bought a Citroen C4 aeriel off ebay, went to fit it earlier and i'm finding it hard to get my old one off.

I tried unscrewing it, but all it does is pivot to change to angle of it. Am I doing something wrong or just being stupid??

unscrew it as far as it will go then give it a big yank sounds brutal but trust me

I just changed mine the other day to a little C2 stubby one and yeah had to give it a tug, felt like i was going to break it when i did it tho
