That hose is still the original and is covered with silver sheath. It comes off the DV and goes under the charge pipe you should just make it out at the right hand side of the N249??

Its a pig to change with the tip and charge pipe in the way, me fat fingers can't get in there :cartman:

You cant really see the pipe either so isn't noticeable whether its silver or blue.

I probably will end up changing it

Its the original ones but they have been polished up, the brackets and strut brace have been chromed aswell.

Need to get a red tip now and a polished header tank and then get the alternater and brackets chromed as you can see them............never ending.

nice job mate, I'm going to re-route the fuel pressure hose like that aswell when I get a sec. You didn't fancy bypassing the N249 while you where at it then??

Nah thought i would leave it mate, i think you have to solder resistors and stuff if you do dont you because of the wires going to the senders or something?

If its not broken why fix it :p

I am going to bypass the n249 this week as it looks **** on top of the shiney bits!:p [B)] Just ordered some more vac hose and going to pick up a resisitor today if i get time.

I had the strut brace and all the brackets chromed at a local chromer and cost me the best part of £100 for the brace and 4 brackets but think it would be cheaper if you polish them yourself and then just get them dipped, which is what i am going to do with the next lot of brackets etc.

The rocker cover, inlet manifold and pipe where polished by a local polishers and they did it in a day for me, really good service have used them to do 3 rocker covers, 2 inlets and got some more stuff off mates cars to get done.
